General Club Information

The Club is now into being 28 years old and we are continuing  our years of happy kite flying events and our educational outreach. As a club we welcome new members even if you have never flown a kite or just want advice as to what to fly and where. Please come and join us at any of our fly-ins.

Members in "club clobber", as we call it……our blue tops with distinctive logo are becoming widely recognised across the country. Other flyers know that GOKF are a friendly and helpful group of people.

We hold regular fly-in meetings throughout the year. Please look at flying dates. As a club we also arrange our very own Peterborough Kite Festival in June….

Members are also encouraged to make their own kites (adults and juniors) and hone their sports kite skills if they wish. To this end, awards for both activities are made at our AGM in November each year
